GloLitter Latin America Regional Workshop

A regional task force meeting focused on twinning opportunities between Lead Partner Countries (LPCs) and Partner Countries (PCs) under the GloLitter Partnerships Project will be taking place in Brasilia, Brazil from April 8-12 2024. Participants from maritime and fisheries authorities from across Latin America will be invited to identify and explore common national priorities and joint activities to combat sea-based sources of marine plastic litter at a regional level. Following successful workshops in the Asia and Pacific regions, the Central America and the Caribbean regions and Africa, the project aims to provide expert guidance and inspire strengthened partnerships for capacity building in the area of waste management.
