The GloLitter Partnerships Project GloLitter Africa Regional Task Force Meeting began today in Nairobi, with the support of the Government of the Republic of Kenya. Running from the 6th to the 10th of November 2023, this is the third regional event under the project following workshops convened in the Asia and Pacific, and Central America and Caribbean regions.
Participants from the Africa GloLitter Partnerships Project countries (Cabo Verde, Côte d’Ivoire, The Gambia, Kenya, Madagascar, Mozambique, Nigeria, Senegal, Sudan, The United Republic of Tanzania and Togo) as well as FAO (María Amparo Pérez Roda, Kelsey Richardson) and IMO (Tamar Barabadze, Ava Jaeggi), representatives and consultants have come together to discuss National Action Plans and SBMPL priorities in the region, to identify potential opportunities for twinning activities.
